Larnaca (also known as Larnaka) is one of the Cyprus seaside resorts. It is the third largest city in Cyprus. This city is famous for its seafront promenade lined with palms. Furthermore, there is an amazing beach, which is just perfect for relax and sunbath!  However, there is also many interesting sites and places to visit also inland.
One of this amazing places is Agios Lazaros, built in the 17th century. It is believed that Lazarus, after raising from the dead, was living in Larnaca, and when died again, was buried in this building. There is also extremely interesting Pierides Archaeological Foundation Museum which is located in a 18th-century mansion. This beautiful restored building houses beautiful exhibition of Cypriot antiquities. If you decide to take flights to Larnaca, you should also visit Kamares Aqueduct. Built in 1746 was providing water to the town until 1930s. It is worth to visit this place in the evening, because the arches are lit up so the views are even more beautiful! However, Larnaca offers also other amazing attractions. For example, if you go to Camel Park Mazotos, which is located just 15 minutes away from the city, you will have an opportunity to enjoy a real camel ride!
