Nowadays, even if we have plenty of various opportunities to go wherever we like, a lot of people still prefer Baltic sea as their tourist destination. Cause most of the time, when we are choosing more conventional modes of transportation, we are selecting far smaller towns, like Jastarnia or Międzyzdroje. But Gdansk has also a lot to offer, and you can enjoy a big city life in there, and of course, it has lovely beaches either. Because of the fact, that it use to be very important, international market place, the city use to be very wealthy, so that is why it has a magnificent architecture. You can admire a whole district of former garner buildings from Renaissance period, renovated very well. Also, you should visit Artus Court, former headquarter of local dealers, constructed in astonishing Mannerism style. And of course, there are many beaches, in case you like to relax on the sand and do nothing.

If you like to visit Baltic shore, you better book flights to Gdansk immediately. It is the best way to go there, especially from the south part of Poland. Gdansk is very interesting place, with plenty of monuments and magnificent architecture. Also, if you like to swim in the sea, there are few beaches around.
